Question : ELECTROPATHY ELECTRO HOMOEOPATHY

to the reply given to Unstarred Question No. 5423 on 29.8.2001 and state:

(a) whether the recommendations of the expert committee have since been examined and a decision taken thereon by the Government;

(b) if so, the details thereof, and if not, the time by which the same is likely to be done;

(c) whether the issue of granting recognition to Electropathy/Electro-Homoeopathy was also discussed in a meeting held in October, 2001; and

(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b) The Standing Committee of Experts constituted by the Government has since submitted its report. The committee has not recommended recognition to Electropathy. However, these recommendations are receiving attention of the Government.

(c)&(d) Yes, Sir. Governments position was explained to the delegates in the meetings.
