Question : Hindi in Missions Abroad

Will the Minister of EXTERNAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state:

(a) the number of persons taught Hindi by the Indian Missions abroad during each of the last three years, year-wise;

(b) the country-wise details of regional Hindi conferences held abroad and the amount spent for the same during the last three years, year-wise; and

(c) the amount spent on publication of books, CDs, etc. for promotion of Hindi abroad during the last three years, year-wise along with the success achieved in this regard?

(a) the number of persons taught Hindi by the Indian Missions abroad during the last three years are as under:
