Till date, no funds have been used from sources (including Nirbhaya fund) other than Railways’ Budget resources, for the installation of CCTV surveillance cameras in trains.

(b) & (c): At present, no trains passing through Secunderabad and starting from Secunderabad are equipped with surveillance cameras.

(d): CCTV cameras have already been provided in about 180 passenger coaches and 90 suburban coaches. Further proliferation of the system shall be decided based on the results/feedback obtained from these coaches and availability of funds.
