(a) & (b) Under the Production Sharing Contract (PSC) regime, gas is being currently produced in Krishna-Godavari Basin, and average gas production from the KG Basin during the last two years is as under:
(Figures in MMSCM)(c) The geographical location of any oil/gas producing asset (onshore,offshore, deepwater and inland) does not influence the allocationcriteria of Government. Since the source is well connected to pipelinesand can be distributed through a wide network of high pressures gas ipeline the gas available from Krishna-Godavari project is allocatedto various sectors as per the order of priority decided in the prevailing gas utilization policy.
