Question : IRRIGATION PROJECTS AS NATIONAL PROJECTS

(a) whether the Government propose to take up some irrigation projects in Orissa as National Projects;

(b) if so, the details therof;

(c) the present status of Manibhadra Irrigation Project in Orissa;

(d) whether the Government propose to declare Manibhadra Project as National Project; and

(e) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (e) The Government do not propose to take up any irrigation projects in Orissa as National Projects. The detailed project report of Manibhadra Irrigation Project has not yet been finalized by the State Government of Orissa.
