(a) whether MCD and NDMC are planning to double the Parking fee;
(b) if so, the justification thereof;
(c) whether the Government propose to set up electronic parking meters, redue
the fee and create employment by assigning these to the weaker sections and disabled
youths; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a)&(b): Proposals for enhancement of parking fee and related
matters are under
consideration of the MCD and NDMC keeping in
view factors such as the need to
provide better facilities in
parking areas, encourage parking in certain designated
areas,
etc.
(c)&(d): No such proposal is reported to be under
consideration.
