(a) whether the Government are implementing or propose to implement any scheme to.pomote art and culture of Advisees, particularly I in the Adivasi dominant Staies; and
(b) if so, the funds provided in this regard during each of the last three years and current year I State-wise?

(a) & {b): The Department of Culture, Government of India administers a Scheme where under financial. assistance is provided to voluntary organizations and individuals engaged in the preservation and promotion of tribal/folk art and culture. Also, under a centrally sponsored Scheme of research and training, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India I provides assistance to States on 50:50 basis for setting up of Tribal Museums for exhibiting Tribal Artefacts by the Tribal Research Institutes.
The details of State-wise assistance extended under the two Schemes during the last three years and the current year are annexed. ,
