Question : FACILITY OF TRAVELLING UPTO 200 KILOMETERS

(a) whether the Railways provide the facility of Travelling upto 200 kilometers to the poor people who earn their livelihood by vending items in the trains by charging a quarterly fare between fifteen to twenty five rupees;

(b) if so, the details thereof and the division-wise number of the persons getting benefits of the said facility; and

(c) if not, the reasons therefor?

(c): Trainside vending of catering items only is permitted to authorised vendors by issuing travelling authority (other than tickets) in selected trains as a passenger facility.
