(a) the total number of magazines and books being brought out on the subject relating to Indian foreign cultural relations;

(b) the budgetary provision made for this purpose during the last four years; and

(c) the number of publications brought out during the said period?

(a) The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) publishes seven Quarterly journals and a number of books to promote Indian culture and to strengthen cultural understanding between India and other countries.

(b) Budget provisions for last four years:

2.	1998-99	Rs.45.00 lakhs

3.	1999-2000	Rs.38.00 lakhs

4.	2000-2001	Rs.39.50 lakhs
