(a) whether the Government has proposed to set up Anti-Human-Trafficking-Units (AHTUs) and Women Help Desks (WHD) in all blocks of the country;
(b) if so, the details of the proposals and funding thereof; and
(c) whether the Ministry has sought help from the Ministry of Home Affairs to setup special task force for this purpose along with the response received thereon?

(a) to (c) The Empowered Committee (EC) in the Ministry of Women & Child Development has appraised & recommended the proposals of Ministry of Home Affairs of setting up&strengthening of Anti-Human Trafficking Units (AHTUs) in districts and Women Help Desks (WHDs) in Police Stations in States and UTs, at a cost of Rs. 100 crore each, to be funded under Nirbhaya Fund.
