(a) whether the Ministry has decided to expand the capacity of Dibrugarh Doordarshan Kendra;
(b) if so, the progress made in the matter so far;
(c) whether the Government has given sanction for appointment to various technical and
non-technical posts lying vacant; and
(d) if so, the progress made by the Government to fill up these vacancies.

(a) There is no approved scheme, at present, to augment the transmission capacity of Doordarshan
Kendra (DDK),Dibrugarh.
(b) Does not arise.
(c) & (d) Government have approved filling up of vacant posts at various Doordarshan Kendras,
including DDK,Dibrugarh,partially,and action in this regard has been initiated.
