(a) the details of the funds allocated and utilised by the department of official language for the progressive use and dissemination of Hindi during each of the last two years;
(b) the other steps taken towards progressive use of Hindi as well as the outcome thereof; and
(c) the details of the awards/incentives being granted to the officials doing their official work in Hindi?

(a): Details are given at Annexure-1.
(b): Details of the other steps taken towards progressive use of Hindi as well as the outcome thereof are as under :-
i. An Annual Programme for implementation of Official Language in official works of the Union is issued every year by the Department of Official Language. An assessment regarding compliance of Annual Programme are laid on the Table of both the Houses of Parliament in the form of Annual Assessment Report every year.

ii. Training for Language/Translation/Computer is given to personnel of various Ministries/Departments and government institutions.
iii. Technical tools are developed and implemented.
iv. For promotion/monitoring of the Official Language Hindi, the work of Kendriya Hindi Samiti, Hindi Salahkar Samities, Committee of Parliament on Official Language, Town Official Language Implementation Committees and eight Regional Implementation Offices of Department of Official Language has been facilitated.
v. Various incentives/award schemes have been implemented for the offices/ employees of the Government of India.
As a result of the above steps, facilities have been provided for working in Hindi in the offices of the Central Government and a positive atmosphere has been created.
