(a) to (c ): In order to reduce the crop loss, National Agricultural Research System has already developed various farm technologies including latest crop production/protection technologies, resource conservation technologies, post harvest technologies, etc. These technologies help in reducing the cost of cultivation also and thereby double the income of the farmers.
In addition, Government has already been implementing several Centrally Sponsored Schemes viz. National Food Security Mission (NFSM); Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH); National Mission on Oilseeds & Oil Palm (NMOOP); National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture (NMSA); National Mission on Agriculture Extension & Technology (NMAET) and Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY), etc. Besides, Minimum Support Price (MSP) has also been notified for both Kharif & Rabi crops based on the recommendations of the Commission on Agriculture Costs & Prices (CACP).
