Will the Minister of AYURVEDA, YOGA AND NATUROPATHY, UNANI, SIDDHA AND HOMOEOPATHY (AYUSH) be pleased to state:
(a) whether there is any such regulation which stipulates assigning a fixed slot of duty to medical officers who also happen to be teachers in medical institutes for ensuring proper discharge of both the functions;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (c): No. National Institutes namely National Institute of Ayurveda-Jaipur and National Institute of Homoeopathy-Kolkata have designated sets of Doctors as Teachers and Medical Officers.
National Institutes namely All India Institute of Ayurveda-New Delhi, National Institute of Unani Medicine-Bangalore and National Institute of Siddha-Chennai have fixed timings of OPD schedule/hospital duties for the Medical Officers who also happen to be teachers.
