(a) The guidelines/rules regarding registration of journalists under Press Information Bureau (PIB);
(b) The details of the service conditions in this regard;
(c) Whether irregularities/biases are being observed/recorded in the registration of journalists under PIB, if so, the details thereof; and
(d) The reaction of the Government thereto along with the corrective steps taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) & (b) :- Press Information Bureau (PIB) grants accreditation to Representatives of News Media Organizations from Delhi/NCR as per the provisions of ‘The Central News Media Accreditation Guidelines,1999’.
(c) & (d) :- Grant of accreditation is recommended by the Central Press Accreditation Committee having wide ranging representation from the Media. Decision is taken in accordance with the laid down Guidelines, to ensure transparency and fairness.
