(a) whether the Government plans to discontinue the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) scheme, if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor; and
(b) whether the Government has undertaken any steps to replace the above scheme with any other programme and if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b) No, Madam. However, the Government has approved renaming of the Core Integrated Child Development Services Scheme of Ministry of Women & Child Development as Anganwadi Services under Umbrella Integrated Child Development Services Scheme beyond the 12th Five Year Plan.
