(a) The funds allocated to his Department in the Union Budget for the financial year 2000-01;
(b) The amount received as foreign assistance for the financial year 2000-2001 and
(c) The amount spent on salaries/tours to achieve the target during the said period?

(a) An amount of Rs. 158.00 crores was allocated to Department of Ocean Development in the Union Budget for the financial year 2000-01.
(b) An amount of Rs. 2.22 crores was foreign assistance component of the expenditure incurred during the financial year 2000-01.
(c) An amount of Rs. 2.74 crores was spent on salaries/tours by the Department during the said period.
