Question : INVESTIGATION IN CORRUPTION CASES

(a) whether investigation cases of corruption filed against Chairmen/Managing Directors/ Directors of Coal India Limited and its ancillary companies is going on;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) the number of officers against whom vigilance cases have been registered during each of the last three years till date alongwith the details of action taken thereon, ancillary-wise;

(d) the number of officers against whom the cases of criminal and corruption are pending in his Ministry/Coal India Limited as on March 31, 2000;

(e) the details of progress of inquiry made against them;

(f) the details of promotions given to said officers, inspite of cases pending against them;

(g) the reasons for not taking a final decision on the said cases till date;

(h) whether his Ministry have taken steps for conducting vigilance enquiry for disposing of the said cases; and

(i) if so, the details thereof ?
