Question : Rashtriya Gokul Mission

(a) whether rural level integrated cattle centres have been established under the Rashtriya Gokul Mission;
(b) if so, the details thereof, State-wise;
(c) the number of Gokul Gram, Bull Mother Farms, Gopalan Sangh, Breeding Tract, field performance recording, pedigree selection programme, distribution of disease free bulls centres etc. established under said schemes; State-wise;
(d) the details of programmes being run under the said schemes State-wise along with the number of farmers to whom incentives are given by the Government maintaining elite animals of Indigenous breeds; and
(e) the number of farmers given Gopal Ratna and Kamdhenu award so far, the details thereof, State-wise and the details of the procedure for selection of farmers for Gopal Ratna and Kamdhenu Award?

(a) & (b) Funds have been sanctioned under Rashtriya Gokul Mission for setting up of Gokul Grams as Integrated Cattle Development Centres.

(c) to (e) The State wise details of programmes/activities- Gokul Grams, Bull Mother Farms, Gopalan Sangh in the breeding Tract, field performance recording, pedigree selection programme, distribution of disease free bulls centres etc. sanctioned under Rashtriya Gokul Mission is given at Annexure-I. National Gopal Ratna and National Kamdhenu Award have been instituted under Rahstriya Gokul Mission to reward Farmers and Institutions respectively who are engaged in scientific management of recognised Indigenous cattle breeds. Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying, and Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Government of India bestowed 12 National Kamdhenu and 10 National Gopal Ratna Awards for the first time in 2017-18 on the World Milk Day- 1st of June 2017. The State wise details of awards given during 2017 is as under:
