(a) whether the process of online applications invited by the Central Board of Secondary Edu- cation (CBSE) for the National Eligibility Test (NET) has failed on many counts;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor; and
(c) the efforts being made by the Government to ease the difficulties of students who suffered due to such failure?

(a) to (c): The Central Board of Secondary Edu- cation (CBSE) had invited online applications for National Eligibility Test (NET) from 15.10.2014 to 15.11.2014. The fee was accepted through e-challan upto 18.11.2014. During this period no failure of server was noticed. Candidates successfully submi- tted online applications along with fee for NET held in Dec 2014.
