Question : CASES PENDING WITH CBI



(a) the number of cases pending with the CBI during the last three years;

(b) whether the Government proposes to reorganise the present structure of the CBI to clear all the pending cases; and

(c) if so, the action taken or proposed to be taken to clear all the pending cases within a stipulated time frame?

(a): The pendency of cases under investigation and those under trial for the last 3 years is as follows:

(b) & (c): There is no proposal to reorganize the present structure of CBI. However, efforts are being made on each and every stage and level to clear the pending cases.
