Question : NET QUALIFIED CANDIDATES

(a) whether the candidates qualifying the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grants Commissions are likely to be recruited by the Public Sector Undertakings;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether the Indian Oil Company has made announcement through its website that the selection of professionals of Marketing and Human Resource in said company is likely to be done from the candidates qualifying the UGC Net December, 2014 for which the UGC has granted the permission; and

(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b) The management of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) in consultation with their respective administrative Ministry / Department, if required, are responsible for all matters related to recruitment to posts below the Board level.

(c) & (d) Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has made an announcement through prominent print media and its website that the candidates meeting the eligibility criteria of IOC and qualifying UGC-NET examination to be held on 28th December, 2014 in the specified papers will be considered for further selection process comprising Group Discussion / Group Task and Personal Interview.
