(a) :- The State Level Coordinator is an important link between State Government/ UT Administration and Oil Companies/Oil Coordination Committee. The functions of State Level Coordinator inter-alia include distribution and stocking of petroleum products at various storage locations, forecasting demand of petroleum products, development activities like conducting feasibility surveys for preparation of Marketing Plans, associating with State Governments for checking malpractices etc.
(b) :- As per the extant policy, the Oil Marketing Company allot Retail Outlets/ SKO dealership, LPG distributorships on the recommendations of Dealer Selection Boards, which is headed by a Retired High Court judge/District judge.
