Question : Advertisement-Notification for LPG and Petrol-Diesel Agencies

(a) the State-wise number of locations for which the Government has published advertisements/notifications for LPG dealerships and petrol-diesel agencies during the current financial year;
(b) whether the selection process has been completed for all the locations and if so, the details thereof; and
(c) whether dealerships for all these advertised locations have been appointed, if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (c) Under Unified Guidelines for Selection of LPG Distributorships, Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have advertised 6,347 new LPG distributorships, out of which 3,687 distributorships have been commissioned. OMCs have also advertised 78,390 locations for setting up of new Retail Outlets, out of which Letter of Intents have been issued in respect of 6,909 locations
