(a) whether the Government has cancelled/curtailed festivals related to tourism and culture including Kumbh Mela due to Covid-19 situation;
(b) if so, the details thereof, State-wise; and
(c) the response received and precautions taken in this regard?

(a) to (c): The festivals are organized by States & Union Territories Governments for which funding is provided by Ministry of Tourism under the scheme. A maximum of Rs.50.00 lakh is considered for funding under the scheme to a State and Rs.30.00 lakh for a Union Territory in one year.
Proposals have been received from Nagaland and Punjab for funding under the scheme for the current financial year. As such, Ministry of Tourism has not cancelled /curtailed festivals related to tourism and States/Union Territories Governments decide on organization of festivals as per the extent Covid-19 guidelines.
