(a) to (c) The Central Council for Research in Ayurveda and Siddha, an autonomous organization under the Department of AYUSH, has plan to undertake survey of medicinal plants of Ayurvedic importance in the areas of Thal ghat, Londa, Khanpur, Kolhapur, Satara, Mahabaleswar, Panchgant, Kolaba, Jalgoan, Bhusawal, Ahmednagar, Shiradigaht, Sampaje ghat and Subramaniya area. The survey work will be completed in 5 years. The Council is also maintaining a Medicinal Plants Garden at Pune which has a number of medicinal plants of Ayurvedic importance found in Sehayadri hill region.
