Question : CONSTRUCTION OF BY-PASSES ON NH-47

(a) whether the construction of various by-passes on the National Highway-47 has been completed/delayed;

(b) if so, the details thereof, by-pass-wise;

(c) whether the Government/NHAI has any plan to construct three major bridges on the said Highway;

(d) if so, the details thereof alongwith the places identified for the purpose;

(e) the funds sanctioned/allocated and released during each of the last three years;

(f) whether there has been any delay in the sanctioning of required funds for the said construction works;

(g) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor; and

(h) the time by which all the construction activities are likely to be completed?

(a) and (b) Details of completed/delayed bypasses on NH-47 which are part of NHDP works for widening of NH-47 are enclosed as Annexure-A.

(c) and (d) The details of major bridges under construction /proposed for construction on NH-47 are enclosed as Annexure B.

(e) to (h) The projects on NH-47 are proposed on Public Private partnership (PPP) mode of financing under NHDP Phase II & III. The time for the completion for the projects is scheduled to be 30 months from the date of commencement.
