Question : Projects under HRIDAY

(a) whether it is a fact that only 52 per cent of the amount has been released to the State Governments by the Union Government for different projects under Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojana(HRIDAY);

(b) if so, the details thereof and the projects undertaken by the State Governments during each of the last three years, State-wise;

(c) the status of the projects undertaken by the States till 31st March, 2019; and

(d) the total amount utilized for each project during the said period, project-wise and State-wise?

(a): No, Sir. The National Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojna (HRIDAY) is a central sector scheme and the funds are directly released to the cities. Out of the total sanctioned funds of Rs. 418.06 crore, an amount of Rs. 402.44 crore (96.26%) has been released.
