Question : EXECUTION OF RAILWAY PROJECTS

(a) the details of railway projects pending or not taken up for execution despite laying of foundation stones for the purpose in the country, State-wise including West Bengal;

(b) the present status of the said project, project-wise;

(c) the time by which these projects are likely to be taken up and completed; and

(d) the steps taken/being taken by the Railways in this regard?

(a) to (c) All projects for which foundation stones have been laid in the country including that of West Bengal have been taken up as per availability of resources. The projects are in various stages of planning, estimation and execution.
