(a) whether the Government has received any proposals regarding development of
National Parks in the country;
(b) if so, the details thereof, State-wise including Bihar;
(c) whether the funds for this purpose has been released or proposed to be released

(a) to (d) Yes, Sir. The Ministry has received proposals for financial assistance for development of Protected
Areas (National Parks, Wildlife Sanctuaries, Conservation Reserves and Community Reserves) in the country
from the various State/Union Territory Governments including Government of Bihar under Centrally Sponsored
Schemes namely, ‘Integrated Development of Wildlife Habitats’ and ‘Project Tiger’ during the current financial
year. The state-wise detail of funds released under these Schemes during the current year is
given in the Annexure.
