Will the Minister of Urban Development be pleased to state:
(a) Whether the Government has received any complaints regarding the misuse of land allotted at concessional rates to The Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs);
(b) If so, the number of such complaints received by the Government during the last three years and the current year; and
(c) The name of the NGOs involved in this regard and the details of the action taken against them?

(a): Yes, Madam.
(b) & (c): In 13 cases, complaints have been received by DDA. Whenever any violation is noticed or complaint received regarding violation of lease terms, the action for cancellation of lease deed/allotment is taken after inspection of the site and by following due process of law i.e. issue of show cause notices, etc.
A list containing details of action taken by DDA in respect of complaints received during last three years including current is enclosed as Annexure-I.

2. Babs Naronha Memorial Educational welfare society, Panchsheel Enclave. Complaint received from Ex-teacher of the school that the allotment was made to school society in illegal way by DDA. Lease deed of the society has already been cancelled in 2005 due to non compliance of EWS condition and the matter is sub-judice in Saket Court.
3. Child Education Society, Pitampura Reg; misuse in the school premise. Show cause notice issued on 19.01.2016 reply is under process.
4. Shri Laxman Dass Sachdeva Education Society, Pitampura. Reg; unauthorized construction of building in playfield area. Lease deed was cancelled on 22.12.2014 and the matter is su-Judice in Delhi High Court.
5. Shishu Nav Nirman Education Society, Dwarka. Reg: misuse in the school premises. Lease deed was cancelled on 01.07.2013 & Eviction proceeding is under process.
6. Bhartiya Brahmin Charitable Trust, Rohini Reg- Illegal construction Show cause notice issued on 22.12.2016 reply has been received under examination.
7. Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee, Rajouri Garden Reg- running Engineering College in the Land Allotted for Polytechnic institute. Show cause notice issued reply has been received under examination.
8. Akhshya Partisthan, Vasant Kunj Reg- Misuse Show cause notice issued on 23.12.2016 reply has been received under examination.
9. Geeta Foundation, Ashok Vihar Reg- Misuse Show cause notice issued on 19.08.2015 matter is sub-judice in the Hon’ble Court.
10. R. Lal Education Society Rohini. Reg- Misuse Show cause notice issued reply has been received under examination.
11. Smt. Dropti Devi Memorial Educational Society, Ptampura Reg- encroachment on adjacent DDA Park Show cause notice issued on 09.10.2015, reply has been received under examination.
12. Kripal Ruhani Satsang (Religious) Azadpur Reg- Misuse File had been sent to field staff for inspection of site.
13. The Great Getsby Club, Patparganj. Complaint received from Ex. Member of the Society reg. dispute within the Governing members. Matter is sub-Judice in Karkardooma Distt. Court.
