Question : LNG BASED PROJECTS IN RAJASTHAN

(a) the places in Rajasthan where there is potential of setting up of Liquified natural gas (LNG) based projects;

(b) whether the State economy will be improved in case positive decision is taken in these projects; and

(c) if so, the efforts being made in this regard?

(a) Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) Terminals can be set up only on coastal locations and thus cannot be set up in Rajasthan, a land locked State.
