Will the Minister of CHEMICALS AND FERTILIZERS be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has given the licence for manufacturing of generic version of rotavirus vaccine to any non-Governmental research establishment;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the details of licences being provided to other research institutes/companies/ individuals/foreign establishments for manufacturing of generic medicines, if any?

(a) & (b): The manufacturing license has been granted for rotavirus vaccine to M/s Bharat Biotech International Ltd., Hyderabad by the sponsorship of Department of Biotechnology vide license no. 03/HD/AP/98/V/R, dated 15.01.2014 valid upto 31.12.2016.
(c): No other manufacturing license has been granted to any other research institutes /companies /individuals / foreign establishments.
