(a) whether the Government has approved the proposal of the State Government of Telangana for transfer of a piece of defence land for the construction of Secretariat building;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the time by which handing over of the land is likely to take place?

(a)to(c): The State Government of Telangana has sent a proposal for transferring land at Gymkhana and Bison Grounds for construction of new Secretariat. Both Directorate General Defence Estates and Army Authorities have not supported transfer of this land to State Government.
