(a) whether the Trade Unions have been demanding to remove the
eligibility limit and calculation ceiling under the Payment of Bonus
Act, 1965;
(b) if so, the reaction of the Government thereto; and
(c) the time by which a decision is likely to be taken?

(a) to (c): The Trade Unions have been demanding from time to
time that eligibility limit and calculation ceiling under the Payment
of Bonus Act, 1965 should be removed. The Government is seized of
their demands.
