Question : CLEARANCE TO NATIONAL HIGHWAYS

(a) whether a number of projects for construction of National Highways are pending for environmental clearance in North-Eastern States;

(b) if so, the details thereof and the number of such highways along with the reasons for their pendency; and

(c) the time by which these projects are likely to be cleared?
