(a) whether the Government has provided financial assistance to Food Processing Industries (FPI) in Bihar during each of the last three years and the current year;
(b) if so, the details thereof, location-wise and industry-wise; and
(c) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a): Yes, Madam. Ministry of Food Processing Industries has provided financial assistance to the Food Processing Industries in Bihar with various Schemes like Scheme of Technology Upgradation/ Establishment/ Modernization of Food Processing Industries (TUS), Scheme of Mega Food Park (MFP) & Scheme of Cold Chain, Value Addition and Preservation Infrastructure.
(b): The location-wise and industry-wise details of financial assistance provided to the food processing industries in Bihar during the last three years(2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14) and current year(2014-15) are at Annexure.
(c): Does not arise.
