Question : EXHIBITIONS BY KVIC

(a) whether the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) has organised exhibitions in different parts of the country to promote the sale of its products

(b) if so, the total number of exhibitions organised during each of the last three years and the current year, State-wise;

(c) the total expenditure incurred in this regard during the said period, State-wise;

(d) whether such exhibitions have helped in increasing the acceptability and sale of Khadi products; and

(e) if so, the details thereof?

(b): State-wise number of exhibitions organised by Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) in the country during the last three years and the current year is given at Annex I.

(c): State-wise total expenditure incurred in exhibitions by KVIC during the last three years and the current year is given at Annex II.

(d): Yes, Madam.

(e): The exhibitions have an overall positive impact in promoting awareness and sales of khadi and village industries (KVI) products. The sales of KVI products through exhibitions during the last three years is given below:
