(a) whether the Government has any plan to construct bypasses in the country including on NH–234 in Srinivasapura Town of Kolar District in Karnataka;
(b) if so, the details thereof along with the funds allocated for the purpose; and
(c) the time frame set for the construction of such bypasses?

(a) to (c) Government has envisaged development of 34,800 km of NHs under Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase I including removal of identified congestion points by way of construction of ring roads, bypasses and elevated stretches.Further, the development works on National Highways (NHs) including construction of bypasses are taken up based on fulfilling the technical requirements, inter-se priority and availability of funds. As regards construction of bypass in Srinivasapura town on NH-234, there is no such proposal at present.
