(a) the details of the projects for which survey has been conducted by the
Railways during the last three years;
(b) whether approval has been accorded or being accorded to complete the
projects for which survey has been conducted; and
(c) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (c): A total of 213 surveys were completed during the last three years
which included 148 for new lines, 26 for gauge conversion and 39 for doublings.
Out of these 27 have been sanctioned and 61 have been shelved .
