(a) whether the Maharashtra Government has lodged objection to the proposed corporatisation of Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust;
(b) if so, the details of the objection raised;
(c) whether the privatisation of JNPT would lead to large scale of retrenchment of workers; and
(d) if so, the measures proposed to safeguard the interest of workers?

(a) & (b) : Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra apprehending retrenchment of employees of Jawaharlal Nehru Port has requested not to corporatise the Port Trust in question.
(c): There is no proposal of privatisation of Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust.
