Answer given by the minister

MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE
(SHRI SHIV PRATAP SHUKLA)

(a) & (b): Yes, Sir. The Revised Estimate (RE) for indirect tax revenue (exclusive of GST-compensation cess) is lower than Budget Estimate (BE) for FY 2017-18, because the GST revenue for March, 2018 will be realised in April, 2018.

(c): As presented in the Union Budget 2018-19, the Government has proposed to meet the RE 2017-18 of Central Revenue Receipts in the current financial year.
