(a) & (b) Permanent and continuous Lok Adalats are being set up in every district throughout the country for providing an additional forum to the litigants for conciliatory settlement of their disputes as also to reduce the pendency of the regular courts which are already over burdened. Besides this, Lok Adalats on old pattern are also being regularly held.
