(a) the number of projects regarding rural development in Gujarat lying pending with
the Union Government as on date;
(b) the date on which these Projects were received by the Government and the
reason for delay in according approval; and
(c) the action taken so far by the Government to sanction these projects ?

(a) to (c): The proposal, for Central release is submitted by the State Governments and
U.T.Administrations under the Rural Development Programmes including the project
based schemes namely Special Projects under Swarnjayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana
(SGSY), Integrated Watershed Management Programmes (IWMP) and Pradhan Mantri
Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY).
No project proposal received from the State Government of Gujarat, completed in
all respect, is pending with the Ministry.
