Question : Re-Evaluation of Marks

(a) whether it is true that the Central Board of Secondary Education proposes to
discontinue the practice of re-evaluation of marks for all subjects from 2017; and
(b) whether it is also a true that an internal committee is examining the issue of how to
deal with the genuine complaints in the case of the CBSE is going ahead to discontinue
the said practice?

(a) : Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has discontinued the practice of reevaluation
from 2017. In this regard a notification was issued to all CBSE affiliated schools
on 03.10.2016.
(b) : Does not arise.
