Transport Corporation Limited proposes to link
various coastal cities across the country;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) the details of cities identified for this purpose;
and
(d) the timeframe set for implementation of the said
proposal?

(a)to(d):Coastal cities are linked through the existing network of Major Ports and Minor Ports. A number of steps have been initiated to promote coastal shipping which will lead to improved connectivity of coastal cities. Government has approved the winding up of Central Inland Water Transport Corporation Limited and as such it has ceased its operations.
