Question : FUNCTIONING OF CAPART

(a) whether the Union Government has recently decided that the Council for Advancement of People`s Action and Rural Technology (CAPART) would be run by professional management;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether the Government is also aware of high level corruption in the functioning of the CAPART;

(d) if so, the details thereof; and

(e) the action taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) & (b):The Government has decided to look at the future / restructuring of CAPART and the necessary action has been initiated in this regard.

(c),d) &( e): Whenever the Government receivesanycomplaint of corruption or malpractices in CAPART, appropriate action is taken.
