(a) whether several institutions have demanded from the Government for enacting necessary laws for the private computer institutes running various curriculam of Information Technology;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government are also contemplating to take control of such institutes in its hands;

(c),(d) and (e): No, Sir. However, DOEACC Society, an
autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Information
Technology has a voluntary scheme under which institutions in the
private sector are given accreditation to conduct DOEACC courses
subject to their meeting well defined criteria in terms of faculty
and infrastructure.
