(a) the number of rake points operated by South East Central Railway for transportation of food and essential items;
(b) whether all of these are operational at present;
(c) if not, the reasons therefor; and
(d) the names of rake points proposed by South East Central Railway in future?

(a) to (c) Apart from three private sidings owned by the Food Corporation of India (FCI), there are 24 rake points (Public Goods Shed) which are presently open for booking of essential commodities like food grains, fertilizers, gunny bags, cement etc. on the South East Central Railway.
(d) There is no proposal for opening any new public goods sheds on South East Central Railway at present.
