(a) the details of the installed capacity of various coach manufacturing units of Railways in the country, unit-wise;
(b) the details of the production of each of such units during each of the last three years and the current year, vis-a-vis the details of demand of coaches of Railways during the said period, Zone-wise;
(c) whether Railways have been procuring coaches from private manufacturers in the country; and if so, the details of demand order placed and procured by the Railways during the said period, Zone-wise;
(d) whether the Railways have been providing technological assistance to private coach manufacturers; and if so, the details thereof along with the policy of the Railways in this regard; and
(e) whether Railway proposes to establish an electric multiple units or diesel electric multiple units coach factory in the State of Tamil Nadu, if so, the details thereof?
